Once Again Answers Questions
Q: Are all Once Again Nut Butter Products kosher?
A: Yes. All are Kosher/Parve (not for Passover). Once Again Nut Butters are certified by Va’ad Hakashrus of Buffalo (BVK).
Q: Are all Once Again Nut Butter Products gluten-free?
A: Yes.
Q: Why does the oil separate?
A: Oil separation is a natural result of making nut butters without adding any stabilizers. If the oil has separated, simply stir the nut butter prior to enjoying it.
Q: Do I need to refrigerate Once Again Nut Butter products?
A: Refrigeration is not necessary if the product is consumed within six weeks after opening. However, refrigeration will slow down the oil separation and prolong freshness.
Q: Is Once Again Nut Butter Organic Raw Almond Butter really raw?
A: The company produces its raw almond butter with as little heat as possible, but during the grinding process temperatures can reach up to 170°F. Currently there is no FDA regulation for raw nut butters.
Q: I’m allergic to peanuts. Can I eat other Once Again Nut Butters?
A: All Once Again products are produced in the same facility. The company has a dedicated peanut butter room and a strict allergen program that involves thorough cleaning between product processing and segregation of all allergens in storage. Even with these measures, there is always the possibility of cross-contamination. If you have a serious peanut allergy, the company does not recommend that you eat their nut butters.
