Imported from Tuscany, bionaturae’s organic semolina and whole durum wheat pasta is redefining the pasta market in the United States.
Flavorful, authentic Old World taste has made bionaturae’s the top-selling organic pasta in the U.S.
The pasta is carefully watched over by the pastaio, who directs the pasta process from kneading to drying.
Antique bronze dies (molds) press pasta shapes with a rough texture, so your sauce will not slide off.
A slow-drying process is key to the delicious flavor of the pasta, before you even add sauce!
bionaturæ and Tradition
Old World Values
bionaturæ operates on authentic Italian values: food, tradition, and family.
Food. bionaturæ truly loves the bounteous food gifts that nature provides. Their fruit is ripened with golden sunshine and with full respect to its natural environment. Their olives are harvested by hand on secluded hillsides by families who have farmed there for centuries.
Tradition. bionaturæ pasta is made in a century-old pasta factory with traditional bronze pasta molds and artisanal methods like drying the pasta at low temperatures. Their carefully-cultivated heirloom fruits preserve the fresh flavors of the past.
Family. bionaturæ is a family-owned and operated company. A network of family farms throughout rural Tuscany grows the ingredients. Extended-family employees put a lot of love and caring into their products.
Old World Practices
bionaturae’s foods are grown on small family farms in Italy, much as they were a hundred years ago.

No GMOs. Concerns have arisen among scientists and consumers regarding genetically modified organisms, (GMOs) including foods. What was once thought to be a miracle of science now appears to be a risky compromise. bionaturae does not practice genetic engineering in any of their products: they use nothing but raw materials cultivated in Italy.
Ripened under the Tuscan Sun. Strained tomatoes are a staple in every Italian kitchen! bionaturæ's strained tomatoes are vine-ripened, hand-harvested, and milled to a perfect consistency, with all seeds and peels removed. Perfect for a quick pizza sauce, long-simmered meat sauce or even your favorite fish recipe.
bionaturæ’s foods are grown on small family farms in Italy, much as they were a hundred years ago. All of their foods are organically grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or fertilizers. They are certified organic by BioAgriCert scrl, which is accredited by the U.S. National Organic Program.
Their family farmers are dedicated to employing safe, labor-intensive methods of cultivating the land. Soils are fertilized using natural, balanced compost. Pests and weeds are controlled by a variety of non-toxic means. For example, their olives are grown at higher altitudes where the olive fly cannot survive.
Small, organic farms give us clean, wholesome and better tasting foods while helping preserve our water, soil and air. Organic foods often cost more, but allow you to make an investment in the environment and your family’s health.
